Refund policy

Refund / cancellation timelines:
- If there are at least 30 days left before the Trip departure, you will get a refund for your payments minus Rs10000 (Ten thousand Rupees) towards administrative charges if you cancel within 48 hours of booking.
- Cancellation 20-30 days before the tour commencement: 75% refund
- Cancellation 10-19 days before the tour commencement: 50% refund
- Cancellation 7-9 days before the tour commencement: 25% refund
- Cancellation 6 or less days before the tour commencement: no refund
For any flights booked through Gypsea Knots, the cancellation policy of the airline will apply.
Gypsea Knots is not liable for payment towards extras such as activities or room nights, and will refund on a ‘best effort’ basis.
If Gypsea Knots cancels the trip, we will provide a full refund.
Refunds will be issued directly through the bank account that Gypsea Knots manages and may take 30 days or more to be rewarded.
If the trip is canceled due to acts of god, civil unrest, war, natural calamities beyond our control, this is NOT considered as a cancellation by Gypsea Knots. In such cases, you can choose to change the trip to a new date at no cost or reserve a different type of trip with applicable transfer charges or be issued a refund with minimum cancellation charges (lowest slab will apply). You will bear any unrecoverable amount spent on behalf of your trip. This includes, but is not limited to, visa fees, insurance and handling charges, and airline tickets.
You may transfer your trip if there are 30 days or more left until departure, under the following conditions:
- Gypsea Knots has discretion regarding the transfer and there must be available seats
- Additional administrative fees of Rs 10000 or more may apply
- Transfers can only be done once per booking
