When will I receive my travel documents?

A: The most convenient option for your documents will be completely electronic itineraries. These e-documents can be accessed on your smartphone at all times on your trip and shared with loved ones who want to know your itinerary as well. When the time comes, we will send you instructions on how to utilize them to the fullest. If you prefer a hard copy of your itinerary, just let us know, and we will courier it to you at a nominal charge.

Q:

Do you book AirBnbs?

A: No, I am not able to book with Airbnb for my clients. Because of Airbnbs protection policy for their owners, the person staying at the home must be the one who books.

Q:

How do I make payments?

A: Once we confirm your itinerary and you are ready to make a deposit, Gypsea Knots will navigate you over a secure credit card authorisation Payment Gateway via PayU Money.

What if I need to cancel my trip?

A: In today's travel climate, We understand how important flexibility and the option to cancel your trip has become. Part of our job as your travel advisor is to educate you about each aspect of your trip's cancellation policy. The tour guides, hotels, properties, and experiences we curate for our clients often have their own unique set of cancellation policies, so we will include all cancellation details clearly in your trip proposal.

What if Covid restrictions change?

A: In that case we will notify you immediately and kindly refer to our cancellation policy.

Q:

Can I make changes to my trip?

A: Yes, absolutely if we bespoke for you. {However if you chosen an itinerary that we have designed for a group tour then I am afraid it will not be possible}. After you’ve looked everything over, we can talk through any changes that you would like to make.

Do you promise the cheapest price?

A: My job is to find you the best value on your vacation, although not necessarily the lowest cost. Pricing, while very important, is only one of many factors we consider when putting together the best package. We take our clients’ budgets very seriously and treat them with the same respect we would want on our own vacation budget treated, but ultimately we keep your best interest in mind and make our travel recommendations with all relevant factors considered. Also, we am unable to provide line-item pricing, as your package consists of many components.

How can I reach you?

A: After our initial consultation call, the best way for us to communicate is through message/emails provided to you.. If you have something more urgent to discuss, we can find a time to schedule a phone call. Of course, while traveling, you will have my personal contact information so that I'm only a phone call away to help should a need arise.

What are our Policies/Terms and Conditions

Gypsea Knots  would not be responsible, in any circumstances, for any loss, damages, etc. that may be incurred/ suffered by you if the information provided by you  turns out to be inaccurate/ incorrect.Balance payments towards the cost of the Trip and Registration Form must reach us at least 45 days prior to the departure OR by the specific date conveyed (if any) as last day for receiving the payment for your tour. If you fail to do so, it would be construed that you are not interested in the tour. In this case you would lose your seat on the trip and regular cancellation charges as per the policy would apply.On payment of the balance amount in full you will receive your confirmation with final itinerary. This confirmation will be valid for your travel on the tour. Your Final documents will be issued, upon receiving your balance payment and completion of the online booking. It may be noted that the aforesaid payment does not include the cost of porter age, tips, insurance, laundry, phone calls, food and beverages or anything not specified in the itinerary of the tour. Your final confirmation entitles you to travel on the Tour. We reserve the right to retain your passport until all pending balances are cleared.Once a tour has been booked, should you wish to change your option from one of our tours to another, we will do our best to meet your wishes.If due to any reason, the visa is not granted by the respective Consular's office/Embassy of the country, OR there is a delay in visa processing, Gypsea Knots will not be responsible. Whatever can be possibly recovered from the package cost, if any shall be refunded.Gypsea Knots  reserves the right to cancel any Tour prior to the departure, without assigning any reason. In such a situation we will organize the Tour on a different date and make your bookings for the same if the alternate Tour date is acceptable to you. In case the alternate tour date is not acceptable to you, we will refund the entire amount due and payable to you, however, you will not be entitled to claim any compensation. Gypsea Knots cannot take responsibility for any cost or any fees relating to the issuance and / or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done through Gypsea Knots Gypsea Knots further reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary and change the hotel, provided, the hotel is of the same category as specified at the time of booking of the Tour and the itinerary delivers what was originally promised.Gypsea Knots further undertakes to provide all facilities and/ or inclusions committed to you at the time of booking of the Tour.Refunds (if any) for amendments and/ or cancellations will be paid directly to you by Gypsea KnotsIt would take at least 30 days to process refunds.Gypsea Knotswould not be held responsible for occurrence of any of the following circumstances during or before the commencement of the Tour and any extra costs occurring due to these are to be borne by you:Any rioting, violence in the area or impending thread of violence. Any acts of God, like heat wave, heavy rain, floods, land slide, earthquakes, extreme bad weather etc.Any delay or cancellation of flights, ferry, trains, bus etc.Medical problem, sickness, physical inability to manage with the itinerary or any other such matter. Such an inability shall not affect/ delay rest of the group on the Tour per se.Lost luggage, loss of personal belongings and/ or theft etc.In case of a fluctuation of more than Rs 2 (up or down) per USD or EUR, depending of the base price of the itinerary, the client will have to bear the additional cost OR the client will be refunded the foreign exchange gain, as the case may beIncorrect visas or tickets done by the client OR failure by the client to purchase the same, if they have opted to organize these on their ownThe Booking Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any litigation arising under or concerning these Booking Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi.If you are over 70, and wish to travel with us, you need to be accompanied by a family member or friend, and we would love to have you with us on board.

What is our Refund/Cancellation Policy

After making payment for any trip, in the event that you change your mind within 48 hours, you will get the full refund except for Rs. 1000 towards administrative charges. This is provided that at the time when you intimate us of cancellation, there are at least 15 days before departure for domestic and 30 days before departure for international tripRefunds given under this scheme, are subject to the 'Additional Points' as stated belowThe cancellation schedule is detailed below:Cancellation after confirmation with payment anytime before 30 days of the commencement of tour: 15% of the value of the undiscounted tour cost or Rs7000, (whichever is less), will be deducted and the rest refunded.Cancelling the tour 30 to 20 days before commencement of the tour: 25% of the value of the undiscounted tour cost will be deducted and the rest refunded.Cancelling 19-10 days before commencing of the tour: 50% of the undiscounted tour cost will be deducted and the rest refunded.Cancelling 9-7 days before commencement of the tour: 75% of the undiscounted tour cost will be deducted and the rest refunded.Cancelling 6 days or lesser before the tour date: No refund for the tour.Additional Points:For any flight tickets booked additionally with the trip being cancelled, the cancellation policy of the airline will apply.Amounts paid towards extras like activities or room nights are only returned on a ‘best effort’ basis.Gypsea Knots is not liable for these amountsAmount paid towards handling charges while paying through the payment gateway (typically about 2.25%), is not returned while making any refunds.For bookings made online, as a goodwill gesture we absorb the processing fees for our travellers. However, we cannot absorb these in case of a cancellation.If for any unforeseen reason, the trip gets cancelled byGypsea Knotscomplete refund would be made.Refunds (when due) are paid directly into a bank account byGypsea Knots and take 30 days to processIn case of cancellation, in addition to the trip cancellation policy stated above, losses incurred on cancelling the visa fee, insurance, and flights will be charged on actuals, over and above the standard cancellation rate even if these are part of inclusion in the package.In case we are forced to reschedule the trip to a later date due to natural calamities, acts of god, civil unrest, war and other events beyond our control, this is NOT treated as a cancellation by WOW. In this case, you could choose to shift over to the new date at no cost OR any other trip by paying the applicable transfer charges OR avail a refund with minimum cancellation charges (lowest slab will apply) and any unrecoverable amount spent on behalf of the traveller will be charged. This includes, but is not limited to, visa fees, airline tickets, insurance and handling charges while paying through a payment gateway (typically 2.25%)Transfer your trip:

For trips that have more than 30 days to departure, we offer our customers the option to transfer to any of our other trips that are currently accepting bookings in the current financial year. This is subject to the following conditions:

Approval of the transfer is based on management discretion and availability of seatsThe administrative fees for cancellation is Rs 3500This can only be done once per booking

  After the payment has been processed for any trip, if the event had to be abandon due to some cirmustances it must be made in notice prior within 48 hours of execution of the trip, and further it will get the full refund except for Rs.1000 towards administrative charges. Provided that at the time you intimate us for cancellation, there must be atleast prior 15 days before departure for domestic and 30 days before departure for international trip
