Our Policies/Terms and Conditions

  • Under any circumstances, Gypsea Knots shall not be responsible for any loss, damages, etc. that you may incur or suffer if the information that you provided turns out to be inaccurate/incorrect.
  • The due amount according to the Trip and Registration Form must reach us at least 45 days prior to the trip departure date or by the date specified (if any) as the last payment due date. Failure to send the payment within the 45 days or specified date will result in cancellation of your trip and you will be charged the regular cancellation fees according to our policy.
  • You will receive your confirmation with the final itinerary after the payment of the full balance. The confirmation will be valid for your planned tour. You will receive your final documents after the completion of your online booking and full payment. Please note that the aforementioned payment does not include the cost of porter age, tips, insurance, laundry, phone calls, food and beverages or anything not specified in the itinerary of the tour. The final confirmation entitles you to travel on our Tour.
  • Until all due balances are cleared, we reserve the right to retain your passport.
  • After your tour has been booked, we will make our best effort to accommodate your wishes if you wish to change your option to one of our other available options.
  • Gypsea Knots will not be responsible if the relevant Consular's office/Embassy of the country does not grant a visa, or there is a delay in visa processing. Gypsea Knots will refund package costs that can be refunded, if any.
  • Gypsea Knots retains the right to cancel any Tour before departure without assigning any reason. In such cases, Gypsea Knots will organize the Tour on a different date and assign your booking to that date should you agree. If the alternative date is not acceptable for you, you will be entitled to a full refund, but you will not be entitled to additional compensation. Gypsea Knots will not take responsibility for any fees or costs for reservations not executed through Gypsea Knots. 
  • Gypsea Knots reserves the right to change the itinerary and switch the hotel, provided that the hotel is of a similar category specified at the time of the booking.
  • Gypsea Knots will pay you directly for refunds (if any) for cancellations or amendments, and it will like at least 30 days to process the refunds.
  • Gypsea Knots will not be held responsible for any of the following occurrences during or before the start of the Tour and any resulting costs that they may incur:
    • Any type of riots and violence in the area. Any acts of God such as floods, land slide, earthquakes, heat wave, heavy rain, etc.
    • Any cancellation or delay of buses, trains, flights, ferries, etc.
    • Sickness, medical issues, and physical inability to stick to the itinerary. Such cases shall not delay/affect the rest of the group on the Tour.
    • Loss of personal belongings, theft, lost luggage, etc.
    • In cases of a fluctuation of more than Rs 2 (up or down) per USD or EUR, the client will have to cover the additional cost, or the client will be refunded the foreign exchange gain.
    • Visa issues or failure by the client to buy tickets if they opted to reserve on their own.
  • The Booking Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any litigation arising under or concerning these Booking Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi.
  • Those over 70 must be accompanied by a family member or a friend, and we would love to have you with us on board.
